JMSU Women’s Body Panel: Tuesday, March 10th, 2026

In celebration of Women’s Month, taking place throughout March, JMSU will be hosting a Women’s Body Panel on Tuesday, March 10, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, at the Student Life Building.

This event, open to all students and staff at LJMU, aims to foster a nurturing environment where participants can discuss the everyday challenges and struggles faced by women, encompassing mental, hormonal, physical, and political issues.

JMSU Women’s Body Panel

Facilitated by Etienne (VP of Community & Wellbeing) and Josh (VP of Activities), this panel seeks to enhance understanding, foster open dialogue, and emphasize the significance of representation within our university community.

‘Contribute to Prosper’ International Women’s Day 2026: Monday, March 9

Hosted by the Women Academics Network, the Women in Professional Services Network, and the Diversity and Inclusion Team, this year’s staff event offers a platform for sharing insights and support while addressing stereotypes, confronting discrimination, questioning biases, and honoring the achievements of women.

In the future, members of our University Leadership Team (including Professor Rachel McClean, Director of the Liverpool School of Art and Creative Industries, Karen Smith, Deputy Finance Director, Yvonne Turnbull, Director of Student Life and Wellbeing, and Lois Wiegand, Head of Legal Services and Deputy General Counsel) will participate in a panel discussion addressing the challenges and opportunities for women, as well as how we can promote change at LJMU.
