Divorce Finalized
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have finalized their divorce after nearly two decades of marriage. The couple, who first met in 2005 and married in 2006, ended their relationship in 2025, citing irreconcilable differences.
Nicole Kidman filed for divorce in September 2025, and the legal proceedings concluded in January 2026. As part of the divorce settlement, Kidman was granted primary custody of their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.
Co-Parenting Agreement
The couple has agreed on a parenting plan that allows their daughters to spend 306 days of the year with their mother. Kidman expressed her commitment to focusing on her family during this transition, stating, “What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that.”
In her statements following the divorce, Kidman emphasized her dedication to her children, saying, “Right now is not the time for me to do that; I’ve got to take care of these kids.” She also mentioned, “We are a family, and that’s what we’ll continue to be.”
Prior to her marriage to Urban, Nicole Kidman was married to Tom Cruise and has adopted children with him. The end of her marriage to Urban marks a significant chapter in her life as she navigates her role as a single mother while continuing her career.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding the future plans of both Urban and Kidman as they adjust to their new circumstances. However, both have expressed a desire to prioritize their daughters’ well-being in the wake of their separation.
