Today, on 2 March, thousands of MK students will discover which secondary school they will attend starting in September.
Over the last decade, the City Council has facilitated the creation of 13,409 new school places for children in the area; constructing seven new educational facilities and assisting 22 existing schools in their expansion efforts.
For the upcoming academic year, Milton Keynes City Council processed 3,854 applications by the deadline of 31 October, with 97% of applicants receiving one of their top four preferred schools, and 83% of children obtaining their first choice. Every child has been allocated a school place.
