Joint air strikes by Israel and the United States on Iran have entered their ninth day, resulting in over 1,300 deaths in Iran and approximately 300 in Lebanon. For the first time since the onset of the war, Israeli air strikes targeted Iran’s oil facilities, leading to the deaths of at least four individuals.
The strikes focused on four oil storage facilities and an oil production transfer center located in Tehran and Alborz. According to Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, the U.S.-Israeli attacks have claimed the lives of at least 1,332 Iranian civilians.

Pezeshkian described the demand for the Islamic Republic’s surrender as “a dream” for the Iranian government.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the conflict, stating that it would only conclude if Iran’s military capabilities and leadership were entirely dismantled. He remarked, “At some point, I don’t think there will be anybody left maybe to say, ‘We surrender.’” This statement underscores the escalating nature of the hostilities.
Experts note that the current situation is unprecedented, with Mohamed Vall stating, “The Israelis are probably planning to cause a situation of crisis in terms of fuel in Iran, and Iranians will consider this as an act of aggression and terrorism.” Tohid Asadi added, “This is not the first time. Back in June, during the 12-day war, we saw fuel depots being targeted, but this is unprecedented.”
