This initiative includes two of its largest suppliers in India, Afflatus and Kautilya Industries, both of which have been long-term partners of FatFace for over 15 years.

The net zero agreement aims to establish a methodology for measuring greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring that participating suppliers are aligned with FatFace’s sustainability goals. As part of this partnership, FatFace will grant preferred partner status to these suppliers for designated product categories.

Kautilya Industries, recognized as one of India’s largest garment manufacturers and exporters, employs approximately 1,500 workers and produces a significant portion of FatFace’s products. Afflatus, on the other hand, designs and delivers products for more than 20 global brands, contributing to over 11% of FatFace’s overall product output.

Nick Stevenson, a representative from FatFace, remarked, “This new agreement is a landmark step, and it’s fantastic that two of our biggest suppliers have already committed to the partnership.” This sentiment reflects the growing importance of sustainable practices within the fashion industry.
